5. / Priority Setting agreement
  • Silverknowes – Vandalism and other Anti Social Behaviour
The Forum members discussed issues in relation to the ongoing problems in this area and agreed that his would continue to be a priority.
  • Cyclists Speeding – Cramond Toll and Brae Head Road
Forum members requested an update on whats happening with regards to the cycle path. IW explained that it was a Council issue. ML explained that she had not attended any of the meetings with regards to the path, but will contact George Kennedy for update. ML explained that she had just recently meet with IW about other issues she was seeking costings for signage for dog fouling, idling engines, speeding cyclists, etc to be erected up in the area. It was agreed that this would continue to be a priority.
  • Ratho Station – fire raising, vandalism & graffiti
GD mentioned in emails sent to ML and IW that he wished to look at getting more support for improving the safety around Ratho Station & particularly around HillwoodPrimary School with regards to fire raising, vandalism & graffiti. It was agreed that this should be a new priority.
SNT & ENV. Wardens –other issues identified
  • Fly tipping – Farm Road of the A904
  • Dog Fouling – Rosebery Avenue, William Black PlaceLovers Lane
ML informed the Forum members that these issues are already being addressed. / ML

6. / Meeting diary
The group decided to hold the next meeting at the Drumbrae Library due to 19 April 2012 date not suitable for the majority. ML to book room and cancel Rosebery Hall Venue. Also GD mentioned in his email that he would like for the forum group to meet at HillwoodPrimary School / ML

RS – raised the issue about A90 requiring to be upgraded with regards to the traffic islands/lighting, etc. He commented that he would like to see something similar to what’s in place at Moira Terrace. ML informed him to write/email Murray Black’s Team. / RS
