As a follow-up to our successful conference in February 2008 at the occasion of the launch of the new US-Belgian Double Tax Treaty and to mark the release of Larcier’s new book on this topic, AmCham Belgium is organizing a special conference at the Metropole Hotel.
This afternoon conference will give you the opportunity to learn the various aspects of this Treaty from legal and tax specialists who will present their views on this Double Tax Treaty. The following topics will be discussed: dividends, partnerships, LOB and arbitration with the help of a panel composed of Luc de Broe (Partner at Stibbe), Bernard Peeters (Tax lawyer at Tiberghien) and Werner Heyvaert (Partner at Stibbe).
Larcier’s book, The New US-Belgium Double Tax Treaty: A Belgian and EU perspective,offers an in-depth analysis of the Treaty by high profile Belgian and US tax practitioners. Participants to this conference can purchase copies of this book at a discount price of €110 (normal price €180).
