Fitness Club Thursday at 3.30pm: This Thursday 23rd April will be the last session for the fitness club run by Jordan and Daniel. All new participants welcome to attend, just meet outside the fitness suite on Thursday at 3.30pm. Thank you to Jordan and Daniel for running this club. (AD)
Do you fancy getting involved with sport and fitness sessions after school? We have organised fitness sessions on Monday’s at Elgin Youth Café 3.45-5pm (walking/running – potential to train for marafun) and tennis sessions on Wednesday’s 4-6pm. Both FREE of charge. Laura from Active Schools and Donna from Elgin Youth Café will be in Elgin Academy on Fri 24th April during morning interval. Please come along to see us in the PE department if you want to sign up or suggest other ideas.
Staff Vs S6 Football: This event has now been changed to soft football. It will be straight after school on Wednesday 22 April on the football pitch. (D Cooper)
INFORMATION FOR S1-S3
Tennis: A Road to Wimbledon poster is now up in the PE Department. Please sign up for this School tennis tournament if you are interested and are 14 and under on 31st August 2015. The proposed week for the tournament is the first week in June with the afternoon still to be decided. Mrs Phillips would like to do some after School practices beforehand, so please could anyone interested please come to a meeting in B01 at interval this Thursday. (DP)
S1 & S2 Novelties Book Group: Group will meet tomorrow in the library at 1.10pm. (ST)
S1 Reports: There are still a number of the response sheets to be returned from the recent S1 reports. Please make sure that you give these to your registration teacher no later than Wednesday. (TC)
Return of Locker Keys:
· All S3 locker keys are to be returned on Tuesday 21 April.
· All S2 locker keys are to be returned on Wednesday 22 April.
· All S1 locker keys are to be returned on Thursday 23 April

S3 - Senior Phase Ties: These are now available from Mr Morrison in G41 at registration, 1.20pm and after school only. Please do not go during class time. The cost of the tie is £6.00 and you should bring along the correct money as no change can be given. Cheques can be made payable to Elgin Academy. (KJG)

S4 Tennis: The Gordonstoun tennis tournament for S1-4 boys and girls will be on Friday 5th June this year from 4pm onwards. Mrs Phillips will be organising a School team for this after the exams so please look out for further details. (DP)
Higher Drama Pupils: Reminder to all pupils studying higher Drama, Mrs Ogg is running revision session from 3.20 - 5pm on Monday 27th. In addition, pupils may access the dept for revision, all day on Monday 27th. (AO-L)
S4 - Career Academy/Career Ready programme: Following the presentation at the Assembly in March, application forms are now available in the Guidance base for this exciting opportunity. Please see you Guidance Teacher for an application form. These must be completed and returned to your Guidance Teacher by the 24th April 2015. (KJG)
