Sacristan’s Collection: A Collection in support of the Sacristans, James and Joan will be taken up at all Masses this weekend. This is your opportunity to show your appreciation to James and Joan for all they do in keeping the Church in such pristine condition.
Tax Back Scheme: Monaleen Parish has received €26,491.00 tax back on parishioner’s contributions over €250.00 for the year 2016. Your continued generous support of our Parish is greatly appreciated.
Adoration: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues each Tuesday from 10.00a.m. to 10.00p.m. Our Lord said to his disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane “Can you not watch one hour with me”. Maybe you would like to commit yourself to 1 Hour of Adoration as we approach the season of Advent.

Monaleen National School Book Fair: Will hold a Book Fair this Sunday, November 26th, 2-5pm. All are welcome to join us for this fundraising event for the school. Tickets are on sale in the school for the Toy Raffle. We hope to see you there.
Light Up a Memory: You are invited to the Ceremony to illuminate the Light Up a Memory Tree at Milford Care Centre on Sunday, December 10th at 6.00p.m. Each person remembered will be enrolled in the Light Up a Memory Book to be displayed in the Hospice during the coming year. The Tree will be adorned with thousands of sparkling lights – each one shining in honour of someone special. Lights will be switched off on Sunday, January 7th 2018 at 6.00p.m. when Mass will be celebrated at Milford Care Centre for all those remembered on the Light Up a Memory Tree. You are invited to sponsor a light on the Milford Hospice Tree by phoning 485859 or 485860 or by visiting www.milfordcc.ie. Forms are also available at the back of the Church. Your support is greatly appreciated.
World Meeting of Families – Petition Box: The World Meeting of Families Petition Box is in Monaleen Parish this week. People are asked to write petitions for their families and put them in the box. These petitions will then be given from our Diocese to the Poor Clare Sisters in Ennis who will pray for the intentions of the petitions during the year of the World Meeting of Families. All the petitions from around the country will be presented at the World Meeting of Families Gathering in Dublin in August 2018.
RehabCare Resource Centre, Parnell Street: Would like to invite everyone to a “Festive Coffee Morning” which will be held in the RehabCare Resource Centre just off Parnell Street (next to the Bus Station) on Friday, December 1st between 11.00a.m. – 3.00p.m. This Fundraiser is held to support our four athletes who are taking part in The Special Olympics and representing “Team Munster” in Dublin in June 2018. Tea/Coffee and a large selection of home baking will be served on the day; there will also be music and a Raffle. Our four athletes and all at the RehabCare Resource Centre would very much appreciate your support for this very worthy cause.
