Completing the form

Your proposal - Please read the application brief carefully. Please ensure that your project activity clearly links to the outcomes and requirements set out in the brief. Please be realistic about what you want to achieve and indicate clearly the planned outcomes and outputs. Please note that although we understand that participant numbers will be estimates at this stage, we only expect small variances so please be realistic. Projects must take place between May 2014 and February 2015.

Monitoring and evaluation–Your proposal must include ways to monitor and evaluate your activity. The tools and methods you choose must be appropriate. If working with referral partners, please tell us about your partnership and the evidence they can share with you about the impact the project will have on the young people. Remember this information should be useful for you as well as informing us of your progress.

Match funding–If your activity includes match funding, ensure that match funding source you are clearly shown. We understand that at application stage, some match funding will be unconfirmed.

Development and legacy - Please consider how you will continue delivering activity or embedding new learning after our funding has ceased. Thinking about the future from the start allows you to build steps to achieve this into your activity. We can help you share your learning and connect with new partners.

Talk to us!

We encourage you to attend a surgery session. This will give you the opportunity to talk through your ideas with our project staff and ask specific questions about the application form before the deadline. This can take place face-to-face, by phone or on Skype. Surgeries will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please email to book your place.

Submitting your application

Please type your answers in the form provided. Save you application with your NAME as part of the file name. Applications must be emailed along with your project budget to with the subject line ‘INNOVATE PROPOSAL’ by 12 noon on Thursday 30th January 2014. We do not accept hard copies. Please email us if you have any special needs or requirements. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
