Meeting called to order by David Chrostek at 3:08 PM.

Minutes from November 29, 2004 were read and approved as written.

Item was added to the agenda - Professional Development Networking Workshop

Site Council Survey - Mr. Bonebrake and Mrs. Quigley will be rotating out of the Site Council at the same time. This will leave the Survey Committee without members. Mrs. Briggs has volunteered to join the committee this year and remain on the committee through next year. Mr. Chrostek went through Parts 1 & 2 of the survey and made some recommendations to consolidate and remove questions based on No Child Left Behind. Mr. Bonebrake will contact Mrs. Briggs, inform her of the recommendations, and report at the next meeting.

Planners - Mrs. Blumenstein compiled results of the parent planner survey. Parents seem to be more aware of the planners than last year. One comment from the survey is replacing planners. In order to help students not lose their planner, next year teachers will have them write their names on the front plastic cover when handed out at the beginning of the year. How this will be accomplished will be addressed at an Inservice Faculty Meeting next year.

School Climate, Lunch Choices, Back to School Week and 5-Year Plan will be tabled until the next meeting as Mr. Temple and the student members of Site Council were not in attendance.

Professional Development Networking Work shop - Mr. Chrostek, Mrs. Quigley and Mr. Tempel along with Mrs. Schmidig and Mrs. Kluver attended the Professional Development Networking Work shop on December 16th. The team reported the speaker was good. However, the team went to the workshop with the idea that the problem of communication from our PACE program would be addressed. The communication problem was not speciffically addressed in the workshop. The workshop instead addressed focus groups as a means to improve schools.

Professional Development - Mr. Rice submitted a Professional Development request this request is to attend a conference with MENC on February 18-20. In Bellevue, Washington. Cost is $175.00. The request was moved to recommend by Dave Bonebrake.

Next meeting will be February 28 at 3:05.

Meeting adjourned at 4:00PM.
