This is an expanding business, offering excellent opportunities forexperienced Delegate Sales Executives to generate,manage and maximise delegate revenue for our events and conferences.This role will give unparalleled opportunity to work on an international event within the lucrative insurance and technology industries.

Reporting to the Commercial Director of IBI Events, the successfulDelegate Sales Executives will be driving new business opportunities by delegate spaces on a project basis across our leading Insurance Technology brand. We are seeking confident sales professionals who have prior experience in dealing directly to senior level management and can demonstrate a track record of successful B2B new business sales.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Maximizingdelegate revenue for the specific event via telephone.
  • Managing and developing your client base through both established business and new business opportunities
  • Represent Informa to potential delegates.
  • Developing your understanding of Informa products, our competitors and clients to enable maximized sales and revenue generation.
  • Continuously improving your understanding of both current and potential delegates, advising on the best opportunities available for them.

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Previous experience in sponsorship sales
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • Consultative sales experience would be an advantage
  • Proven success in a sales role dealing with senior management in multi-national companies
  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience of developing a global client base
  • Highly developed business acumen and the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry
  • The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximize product potential
