ROB’S WORDS:10 YEARS OF MINISTRY…

I have been sitting at my computer looking through a giant stack of dvd’s with pictures and videos of GPS Faith Community over the past 10 years. There has been lots of laughter – as I see pictures of kids that are now in college, as I watch some of the cheesy stuff we did in worship.

Certainly there is some sorrow as I see images of people who are no longer a part of this community. But, there is also great joy in seeing so many people who have been a part of this community for the past 10 years, and seeing different times as new folks have joined this community.

This Sunday we will kick off our 10 years of ministry celebration with worship at 9:00. It will be a joy to fill this space with many people who all come to give God the honor and praise as we celebrate all that has been accomplished in the past 10 years, and look with joy at all that is yet to come.

I hope you will be here for this special day as we let our praises be made known to God, “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4

Don’t forget that we will be collecting a special “Joy Offering” going above and beyond our regular offering. We ask you to prayerfully consider giving a special Joy Offering for: our Intern Pastor, Young Campers Fund, Mobile Food Pantry and General Budget.

God’s Blessings,

P. Rob
