Prepared by the Tompkins County Youth Services Dept. 607- 274-5310 9/29/08

Tompkins County youth are fortunate that a variety of programs and services exist to assist them with an array of employment preparation activities. Our youth can take advantage of a continuum of services which range from career exploration visits, community service, paid and unpaid apprenticeships and subsidized and unsubsidized employment. Some programs are open to everyone while others require income or municipal residence eligibility.

Note to users: Program information is provided based on the municipality in which you or the young person you know lives. Also note that some programs serve youth from throughout Tompkins County.
