Co-written by Bea, Ilsey (Beyoncé, Drake), Pop & Oak (Nicki Minaj, Alessia Cara) and produced by Pop & Oak, the song showcases Miller’s powerful, raspy vocal range and her willingness to explore the emotions of a complicated relationship. The song captures Bea musically and lyrically with its message: I could tell you what you want to hear / Cause the truth is always in the way / I never wanna live in fear / I don’t wanna hold back all the things I need to say.
