A Summer Evening Activity

A meal followed by talk and demonstration by The Mersey Morris Men

Venue and Date

This will take place at the Wheatsheaf Inn, Ness, South Wirral

Wednesday 8 June 2016 beginning at 6.30 p.m.

Programme

·  We will begin with the meal, which is a two course choice. The Wheatsheaf prides itself on serving fresh produce daily and therefore changes its menu from day to day. It does not require advance booking. (The specimen menu given overleaf is only a guide to the sort of choices.) Drinks are not included in the price and these should be paid for as required on the day.

·  After the meal the Mersey Morris Men will give a talk on the history and traditions of Morris Dancing.

·  This will be followed by a demonstration of Morris Dancing in the Wheatsheaf Car Park. Anyone wanting to try their skills will be welcome but this will not be compulsory!

·  Should the evening be wet they will be able to push the tables back and dance in the dining room.

Cost per person
