COLLABORATE 2010, Las Vegas, NV – April 19, 2010
News Facts
- Oracle today announced Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) Foundation Pack 11gR1. With Oracle AIA Foundation Pack 11gR1, partners and customers can leverage their existing application investments and jumpstart new application integration projects on Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g for increased business value and agility.
- Beyond support for Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g, this Foundation Pack simplifies and speeds development of integration projects for business analysts, architects, developers, and application owners, effectively bringing the AIA programming model and best practices out of the documentation and into the toolset.
- Definition and proposal of new services are captured through the decomposition of business process models by architects in an integration project workbench.
- Creation of new services are automated for developers through wizards and templates.
- Installation of composite business processes is simplified for application owners through the creation of a comprehensive “bill-of-materials” capturing the dependencies between services and the auto-generation of deployment plans based on the customer’s environment.
- Oracle AIA Foundation Pack 11gR1 now provides customers and partners with access to more than 130 pre-built enterprise business objects and more than 1,200 Enterprise Business Services.
- Oracle AIA Foundation Pack Extension for Insurance includes new Enterprise Business Objects as well as expanding content coverage to support additional processes, such as Individual Life Sales, Individual Life New Business, Group Billing, and Policy/Member Services (as related to Group Billing only).
