Research Profile

·  My research is chiefly into Integrated Management of Stored Products Pests (Detection, Monitoring, Control), Biological Pest Control and Temperature-dependent insect development.

·  I have approximately 18 publications in respected journals including Physiological Entomology, Environental Entomology, Journal of Economic Entomology etc.

·  I have made approximately 35 oral and poster presentations of my research results to 19 international and national entomological congresses.

·  I am the coordinator of two research and one educational project. I have served as a full partner in 2 research projects.

Teaching Profile

·  I teach General Entomology & Zoology, Applied Entomology, Integrated Pest Management to undergraduate students.

·  I supervise undergraduate dissertations on a wide range of topics (Stored Product IPM, Parasitoid biology, Pest Faunistics etc.)

Management and Administrative Profile

·  I am the Chairman of the Committee for students‘ Practical Experience and responsible for organizing on the job training of almost 45 students every semester.

·  I am the Head of the Laboratory of Crop Protection since 2008.

·  I have been served as invited reviewer of 16 scientific papers submitted for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
