Certified Personnel

1.

A.  Approval to hire certified teacher Sharon Meyers to replace Melissa Conrey AK8 Kindergarten teacher.

B.  Approval of change of position from substitute to LT substitute $120 per day at MR for Allison Carpenter, to fill in for Jessica Bruce, the LT assignment at MR was completed 11/15/10, and Ms. Carpenter was transferred to a LT sub position at CB to replace Gretchen Cheney.

C.  Approval to hire substitute teachers Shannon Jacobs, Michael Meenan, Willie Roberts, David Medley, Scott Alexander and Julie Suchenski.

D.  Approval of prorated contract in the amount of $21,013.41 for Molly Peterson-Montoya for receiving proper certification.

E.  Approval to extend Tonya Thompson’s Social Worker Contract for 53 days in the amount of $12,527.08.

F.  Approval to pay $100 per student per semester to teachers for the Florence Virtual Academy duties per attached list.

G.  Approval to pay $20 per hr. for OCS duties to Diana Meile and Heidi Stiff at PBH, Kristie Gutierrez at AK8, and Elizabeth Kerr at CCR, for Saturday School duties to Heather Hirsch and Kelly Sheick at CCR, for After School Tutoring duties to David Lopez at FHS, for covering classes to Jonalyn Cullen, Richard Jimenez, Erin Karten, Randall Hoggard, Adam Tewilliager, Arthur Montano, Nicole Balzarini, Liza Schlinger, Patricia Horrell, Jeremy Scott, George De La Torre, David Lopez, Jeanee Bacon, Valencia Coppell, Annette Cantu, Annette Valencia, Edward Callahan, Sara Mahoney, Deanna Potter, and Linda Schow at FHS.

H.  Approval to pay $7.50 per hr. for game management duties to Adam Tewilliager, Jaclyn Chandler, and Erin Karten.

I.  Approval to pay Drama stipend in the amount of $2934 to Thorina Conley at PBH, and NHS stipend in the amount of $1000 for Liza Schlinger at FHS.

J.  Approval of change of coaching duties for Dana Hunter from JV Cheer $1630 to Varsity Cheer $2282 at PBH to replace Jen Delatorre who is on extended leave, and to offer the JV Cheer contract $1630 to Erika Duckett, offer of Chess contract $1630 to Mike Fitch at FHS.

K.  Approval of K8 coaching duties per attached list.

L.  Approval of extended leave of absence for Jennifer DeLaTorre. Mrs. DeLaTorre’s FMLA was exhausted 12/7/10 and she is requesting an unpaid leave for the remainder of the 10-11 school year.

M.  Approval to accept letter of resignation, payment of unused sick leave per board policy GCQ, payment of the early retirement incentive and participation in Smart Schools effective at the end of the 11-12 school year for Talma Harmon.

N.  Approval to accept letter of resignation and recommendation not to impose liquidated damages to Jill Scott-Fleming, effective 12/10/10.

A.  Approval to hire bus drivers Bernard Maher, Robert Heon and Michael Gerback $11.85 per hr., bus driver Mitch Tebbs $12.09 per hr., lunch monitor/crossing guards Daryle Harding for CB, Deena Cowger for WB, and Lori Derka for AK8 $8.13 per hr., health aide at AK8 Tiffany Clark $10.74 per hr. parapro at PBH Larry Luke $8.93 per hr. + $2000 prorated for BA degree, lunch monitor at WB Rebecca Black Feather $8.13 per hr., line server Don Johnstun $8.13 per hr.

B.  Approval to hire substitute parapros Travis Hunt and Rosanne Musselman $80 per day, and substitute nurse $14.32 per hr., substitute custodian Maria Gomez $9.80 per hr.

C.  Approval to pay $20 per hr. for translator duties to Maribel Hurtado, Armida Chabarria, and Maria Alvidrez.

D.  Approval of change of position from line server 3 hours per day to lunch monitor/cross guard 5 hours per day at MR for Rosalia Rodriguez no pay change, from sub custodian to FT custodians for Odell Brenna to replace Jason Gammons at FHS, Christopher Ritacca to replace Grisel Rivera at WB and Frank Varela to replace Diane Chavez at PBH $10.22 per hr., from sub parapro to FT parapro at AK8 for Travis Hunt $8.93 per hr. + $2000 prorated for BA degree, from sub campus monitor to FT campus monitor at PBH for William Johnson $11.00 per hr.,

E.  Approval to reduce hours from 8 to 3 per day for bus driver Michael Cook due to social security limitations, pay will remain the same, effective 7/1/10.

F.  Approval to resume regular rate of pay $12.07 per hr. for FHS kitchen manager Albert Lawrence due to the completion of social security limitations, effective 1/1/2011.

G.  Approval to pay blended rate of $11.72 per hr. for game management duties to Debbie Olson, and $12.98 to Steve Morelos.

H.  Approval of extended leave of absence for Ronald Joaquin, Mr. Joaquin’s FMLA leave was exhausted 12/2/10 and he is requesting unpaid leave until 1/3/11.

I.  Approval to accept letters of resignation from district driver Paula Bochenek effective 11/4/10, AK8 health aide Shawn Lindauer effective 11/5/10, food service worker Brenda Biancardi effective 11/30/10, WB lunch monitor/cross guard Deena Cowger effective 11/18/10, and CB lunch monitor/cross guards Iosefatu Aunese and Lauren Sainburg effective 10/29/10, bus driver Drake Brees effective 10/29/10.
