LX500e – The Go-To Printer for Start-Ups
Primera introduces latest colour label printer at Natural Products Scandinavia
WIESBADEN, GERMANY (October 06, 2016) – Natural Products Scandinaviais co-located with the Nordic Organic Food Fair, taking place at MalmöMässan, in Malmö, Sweden from 16 to 17 November 2016. The combined shows are the only Nordic trade events for natural living, organic food and drink and will host 375 exhibiting companies. Thousands of natural and certified organic products will be showcased. And all of them feature product labels, which not only help customers to identify the product but also inform them about ingredients, nutrition facts, certifications and instructions.
Especially in the natural and organic industry there are a lot of small businesses that are in need of short- to medium-run, full-colour customised product labels. Putting the most professional colour labels possible on products will set them apart from others. This is especially important for smaller manufacturers who can actually increase their sales by making their products stand out through innovative packaging and labelling.

LX500e is the newest addition to the well-known LX-series printers and the successor of Primera’s smallest label printer so far – the LX400e. LX500e utilises a new print engine that doubles the maximum print speed from 25mm per second to 51mm per second. The capacity of the tri-colour ink cartridge is higher and also an optional built-in cutter is available.
LX500e also accepts tag stock that can be cut with the optional built-in cutter, making it ideal for producing visitor, convention and meeting badges. LX500e can also be used for private labelling, test marketing, pre-press proofing and retail shelf labelling. It’s the perfect solution for companies that wants to design and produce their own product labels.
Ordering massive quantities of pre-printed labels is no longer needed, there’s no lead time and no set-up charges, either. Design changes can be accomplished immediately so there’s no wasted inventory – as only the labels are printed that are needed when there are needed – no matter it be 1, 1000 or 10,000 labels.
