Cupcake Festival Pageant 2018
When: Saturday June 30,2018
Location: Maranatha Fellowship (gymnasium)
2910 Kanawha Terrace, St Albans, WV 25177
Orientation: 12:00PM
Contestants must arrive early for orientation, practice and private interviews. Please come prepared for a quick rehearsal and hair in rollers, if necessary, for interview. Have your headshot in hand with your name printed on the back of the photo. (Schedule attached)
Pageant begins: 3:00PM
Deadline to enter: 6:00PM Sunday, June 17,2018
Entry Fee: Teen – Mrs. - $60
Can be paid by money order or PayPal ($2.00 processing fee to be added to PayPal transactions) () please include your name and division.
Registration fee, headshot photo & bio form must be submitted no later than
6:00PM Sunday June 17, 2018
Winner of each division will hold her title for one year. During this year, she will participate in many events around her city and community. Please see attached contract for further details!
Rules per division:
- Teen – Must be ages 13-15 by the day of competition, Saturday June 30, 2018. Must not have had children.
- Miss- Must be ages 16-20. Must not have been married or had children.
- Ms.- Must be ages 18-up. Can have had children, or can be divorced.
- Mrs.- Must currently be married!
Awards for title holders:
MissQueen will go on to compete at WV Fairs and Festivals pageant in January.
Crown, sash, sash pin, winner will hold title for a year while reigning over four events for the Children’s Miracle Network, free year pageant coaching, cupcake apron, ticket to Blue and Gold game, & basketof goodies! (Prize Package is still growing!)

Because we want our title holders to be well spoken and a positive role model to the community,all ties will be broken with the highest interview score!
Interview:
Each contestant will have a private interview with a panel of 4 judges. The judges will be instructed to ask questions using bio forms as well as permitted to ask regular everyday questions not on bio sheets. Judges will NOT be permitted to ask questions related to politics or religion! Outfit for this stage of competition should be what you would wear to an interview and should be age appropriate.
Outfit of Choice:
Be FUN & CREATIVE with this style choice. This is whatever YOU feel comfortable in and something that shows who you are! Don’t be afraid to go crazy with colors and designs. This section is all about you! Judges will be scoring on personality and stage presence!!
On Stage Question:
Each contestant will be required to answer two questions. One will be a “fish bowl” style question and the other will be from her bio. Don’t worry, the questions will be simple and fun!
Evening Gown:
This is an evening gown of your choice. Please keep dresses age appropriate for division.

Contestant Contract
I, ______, understand that as the Cupcake Festival Queen I am expected to represent my title, community and city respectably. I understand that I am to serve as reigning queen for a year, while attending events and community activities. I understand that during this time if I do not follow the guidelines and regulations set by my director and the Cupcake Festival Community I will be stripped of my title, sash & crown. I understand that being a good Role Model to my community means respecting others, dressing appropriately for events, conducting myself well on social media accounts and in public. I will not use profanity in any way while holding this title. I will not use drugs or be involved in any criminal acts. I understand no refunds will be given after acceptance email has been sent following collection of registration fee. I have read, understand and agree to all listed below:
- I will attend at least 3 mandatory events over this year
- I will attend at least one event per month, per my choosing, to attend and represent my title.
- I will update social media accounts with a photo of myself representing my title or a cupcake festival related post at least once every two weeks.
- I understand all photos taken and posted on Social Media must be tasteful and modest.
- I will uphold a respectable image in the eyes of the pageant board atall times. This includes while representing my title with and without sash, social media pages and public events.
- I understand that all photos taken of me or my child at pageant or pageant events may be used for promotional use by Sparkle Pageantry and Consulting and the Cupcake Festival.
- I agree to be respectful of pageant venues, to other contestants, my director, and pageant staff
- I understand that under NO circumstances is Sparkle Pageantry and Consulting and/or The Cupcake Festival, its staff or its venues responsible for accidents/injuries/or lost and stolen goods.
