Team Support and Coaching Staff
THE SOCCER SEASON HAS OFFICIALLY KICKED OFF! The success of the team relies on many components including team unity, parent support, and community sponsorship.
What you need to know to help Start Off the Season on the Right Foot!
General Fund ~ To supplement the school soccer budget, the Parents of WHSSoccer maintain a General Fund. These funds help purchase practice equipment and additional uniform needs, in addition to supplementing the cost of warm-up shirts, game programs, and the year-end banquet. Does your company have an Employer Matching Gift Program? If so please attach the appropriate form and we will process accordingly and add the matching gift to your total general fund donation. See separate form.
Sack Lunches~ When a team travels on the bus to an away game outside of the CR area, a sack lunch is prepared for each player. Also, in the event of double-headers or post-season games, food is provided to ensure the players have nutritional snacks between games. Each lunch contains a sandwich, fruit, Gatorade powder packet and snacks such as chips, granola bars, string cheese, etc.
WHS Men’s Soccer Gear and Spirit Items ~ Suit your player up in the latest soccer clothing, including the recommended practice shirt. Show your team spirit and support for the team by purchasing gear to wear when you are cheering on the team! See separate order form.
Team Building Dinners ~ Throughout the season, three team building dinners will be planned. All players from each of the three teams are expected to attend and participate in these meals as part of their commitment to the team. The dinners will be held either in the WHS cafeteria or another designated location immediately following the practice on that day.
WHS Warrior Home Match Balls ~ Another way to support the team is to sponsor a Match Ball. Perhaps honor your athlete or honor the memory of someone special. See separate form.
Corporate and Community Advertising/Sponsorship ~ Corporate and community supporters have the opportunity to sponsor the team and be recognized on the varsity poster. Also, advertising space is available in the game programs. Know of someone who would be interested? See separate form.
