Compare this simplified version to the authentic version by matching the paragraphs based on meaning. Compare the word choices used that seem to correlate with each other.

(Specifically the two main characters) / ·  Discuss the different points of view on “humanity” and “the world at large” between Georgiana and Aylmer.

·  AIG will provide activities on Powerpoint in Shared Folder for analysis of excerpts from other stories
·  AIG will provide discussion activities on RUDDER’S WIKI site / Visual Product:
Students will work with partners to “dissect” an excerpt from the original version of “The Birthmark”. The product will be a visual that can be displayed on the wall showing their analysis and a written draft of the overall meaning of the excerpt.
