·  Entrants must be a high school senior or older to participate.

·  Artists may also enter written pieces, and writers may enter visual pieces. Anyone may also submit entries for the Edible Books exhibit.

·  Please submit entries, ready to hang, by Wednesday March 29, 2076, 8:30 p.m. at the Bill Library. This will allow time to properly mount the exhibit. Authors, if they so choose, may donate a copy of their book to be cataloged and circulated by the library. (Please allow at least 1 week to do this before the reception, if possible.)

·  All writers & artists are encouraged to attend the opening reception, Sat., April 1, 2017, 1:00 – 4:30 p.m.

Artists & writers should arrive before 1:00 p.m. to give themselves time to get settled and check in (a short process!).

The reception gives us the opportunity to talk with the public, as well as other artists & writers, about your work. Refreshments will be provided, and we will also be sponsoring an Edible Books exhibit that day. Friends and family are also invited to attend this exciting event.

·  You may sell your artwork and books at the opening reception, and are encouraged to bring business cards, brochures, etc., to be on display for the duration of the exhibit. These will allow the public to contact you about your work. If you wish to sell your work at the Reception, please submit the Entry Form as soon as possible, as space is limited.

·  Visual & written entries will be displayed for approximately one month, and should be picked up the week beginning May 1.

Ø  Artists: List title, medium, and approximate size. Visual art may be paintings, photography, sculpture, pottery, mixed media, etc. Due to space constraints, submissions are limited to 3 visual art pieces, including any visual works submitted to the Exquisite Project. Works must be submitted ready to hang.

Ø  Writers: Please list title and category, (i.e.: fiction, poetry, etc.)
