PTO Membership – Thank you to all who sent in their membership donations for the PTO! So far, we have raised $1620! Congratulations to Renee Tarlton who is the winner of our membership drawing for a $30 gift card to Aubree’s. Donations are still being accepted. Membership forms can be found in the main office.

MMS Spirit Wear – We have a new design and new colors for the t-shirts/sweatshirts. There will be Spirit Wear for sale during Parent-Teacher Conferences, and we are also currently taking orders for spirit wear. Any orders placed by November 14 will arrive in time for the holidays. Coming Soon: Mongolian BBQ Night – On November 19, MMS PTO is hosting a fundraising evening at BD’s Mongolian BBQ. Come out for a fabulous dinner and see some of your favorite teachers as guest grillers! MMS receives 15% of sales for everyone who brings in a flyer that evening. Upcoming CHEERS events:

  • We are in need of volunteers to work at our Fall Book Fair which will be held from

October 27th through October 31st. A sign-up went out to all who are on the CHEERS email list. For those who are not on the email list, but would like to help, the link is

  • We will be looking for BAKERS to donate treats for our teachers and staff on Parent-Teacher Conference Day which is Thursday, October 30th. A sign-up email will be sent out soon through the CHEERS email.
  • If you have a student who needs “community service hours” please let Amy Chait know at . We will occasionally have opportunities for students to volunteer their time and I will be sure to add you to my email list.

Box Tops for Education – Thank you to all who collect and send in Box Tops! Every Box Top is worth ten cents and can be found on a variety of products. Please spread the word and get family members involved! Make sure that the Box Tops are not expired and that the date of expiration is visible. We hold a monthly drawing of a gift card for students who bring in Box Tops. For every ten a student submits, he/she can complete one entry form which are located in the collection boxes in both offices. Because we had so many Box Tops submitted in September, we drew names for 6 prizes! Congratulations to all of our winners!!

Clothing Closet Update –Donations of new or gently used clothing (children’s large/XL and all adult sizes)are accepted and can be dropped in the donation box in the attendance office. All donations are greatly appreciated. Currently,the Clothing Closet is in need of the following items:

  • Women’s jeans/pants size 8 and up (please make sure they are appropriate for pre-teen/teen girls – no “mom jeans” please)
  • Women’s Clothing (especially hoodies) – size Large or X-large
  • Fall and Winter Clothing
  • Girls’ and boys’ socks (all sizes)
  • Shampoo
  • New/gently used gym shoes (sizes 6-11)

We stock a variety of clothing sizes, toiletries, hygiene products and school supplies available for all students needing assistance. Please contact our social worker, Jill Castor, for more information. She can be reached at .
