CPLA Monthly Member Meeting
February 21, 2012
Vance Villano, Treasurer, opened the meeting at 7PM. 17 members were in attendance.

Web site report was provided by Pam Mitchell. Student Housing landlords have been experiencing an issue in getting expiration notices on properties they just renewed. A fix was performed that day but need to wait to see if notices go out the next day before we know it is fixed.
Our guest speaker was Matt Muccitelli of Park Audio & Furniture. They have 4 locations; Duncansville (Audio & Mattresses), Altoona, Huntingdon & Orbosonia that handle furniture and flooring.

Park Furniture supplies appliances and furniture for home or office. Park Furniture purchases truckloads of “scratch n dent” products from manufacturers. These products have minor blemishes that were either returned or discarded by the manufacturer. The inventory on the products changes frequently due to the nature of the purchases. All 4 locations do stock scratch n’ dent items. If an item is not available at one store, they will check the stock at another location and have it delivered to your local store.
Park offers free delivery and free electric appliance hook-ups. A small fee is charged for gas appliance hook-ups. Gas appliances can be converted to propane with an adapter.
Park does provide warranty work on GE, Frigidaire, Whirlpool & Maytag.
The scratch n’ dent products offer a savings of at least 25%, however some savings can be as high as 40% depending on the product. Manufacturer warranties cover scratch n’ dent products as any imperfections are cosmetic.
Park is offering all members of the CPLA additional savings on scratch n’ dent appliances. Members can save an additional 10% off provided no delivery is required. In addition, Park is offering members an additional 10 year warranty on major components at no charge.
