In May 2004, Contamac expanded its business into allied markets through the acquisition of Opteq BV, a high precision machinery manufacturer. Silicone Hydrogel

Intra Ocular Lens Materials
CI26 leads our range of foldable hydrophilic and hydrophobic acrylics, this material displays a near perfect balance between machining characteristics, optical transmission and foldability. Recent innovations include yellow colour additive to block blue light and an Advanced Monomer System (A-M-S).
Gas Permeable Contact Lens Materials
Contamac's GP materials offer a full range of oxygen permeability and the lowest wetting angles in the industry. Designed with comfort in mind the Optimum and F2 range of materials, offer a unique blend of properties to suit the most demanding of wearer.
Soft Contact Lens Materials - Hydrophilic
