a.  We have officially hired Mike McBride’s replacement.

Dan Riley is coming from Tennessee to fill our Research and Prevention Coordinator position starting November 1. We are extremely excited to work with him and hit the ground running.

1.  Campus Lab updates-all surveys have been uploaded. Once they are available online, Katie will be mailing out documents with instructions in the email. If there are any questions, let Katie know!

1.  What can you do before you receive your materials from Katie?

a.  CITI if necessary (or other training)

b.  Find forms necessary so you’re prepared with your process

c.  If need help with IRB, contact Katie. She’s more than willing to work with your IRB (or you) directly to figure out what is needed.

VI.  Suicide Prevention Update

VII.  DSDS, SMART, START, and CHEERS Update

ii.  START is about how to host/implement a safe party. Online program that students can choose to take (or be mandated to take). It has been completely re-vamped, and will be adjusted again (post-pregnancy).

IX.  Other Discussion, Updates from Campuses

a.  Amnesty Policy? Responsibility Policy? On looking at no/low consequence to students who “do the right thing” and help a friend out (i.e., take them to the hospital, and then those who take them won’t be in trouble). If you could bring your campus policy/be aware of your campus policies so we can have a discussion at the next meeting.?

b.  Interest from UCM to bring Green Dot to their campus. If you’re interested, contact UCM to try to help share the costs.

c.  MU’s Wellness Resource Center celebrated their 21st Birthday this year, in addition to the Alcohol Responsibility Month.

d.  Ericka Upshaw will be in Columbia later this month, so it may be a good time to try to get her to your campus.
