TERMS and CONDITIONS

Parents/guardians and pupils are subject to the terms and conditions as laid down by Southwark Music Service as detailed below, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

1.  The Centre will provide expert tuition for all pupils 29 weeks per year to include 2 concerts and an open day.

2.  In most cases the Centre will provide instruments on a free loan for students for the duration of their time at the Southwark Wax Music Centre. Instrumental tuition books must be purchased by students,

3.  Payment for lessons and activities is required termly within the first 3 weeks of each term. Persistent failure to pay fees will result in the loss of instrumental provision.

4.  All parents / Guardians will be expected to support their children to practice regularly and to contact tutors via the Centre if they have any concerns. (The Head of Centre will contact you if he has any concerns)

5.  Parents/Guardians are expected to ensure children arrive on time each week. They should inform the relevant person/persons of pupil absences by texting Pat on 07812 899964 before 9.00 am

6.  The Centre reserves the right to change teaching personnel, lesson times and pupil groupings where necessary and to notify parents of changes where possible.

7.  The Centre reserves the right to discontinue tuition where a pupil's progress, effort, attendance or behaviour is unsatisfactory.

8.  The Centre will enter students for public examinations as agreed by tutors and parents / Guardians.

9.  All teachers are DBS checked and will adhere to safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.

10.  Parents/Guardians are liable for any repairs to instruments damaged while on loan. We recommend instruments are added to household insurance.
