Select Board’s Meeting and Workshop
Minutes May 28, 2015 9:00 A.M.

MEETING: 9:00 A.M.
1.Roll Call:Call to Order
The Meeting was called to order at 9:03 a.m. by Lesley Cosmano.
Diane Tinsman is a member of the Board of Assessment Review. Her term expires 6/30 and the Board had asked her to come in and talk about the possibility of being reappointed. She would like to be appointed to another term.
2.Abandoned Building Ordinance Committee
Mark Thomas came in as he has volunteered to be the Chair of the ad-hoc Abandoned Building Ordinance Committee. Other members of the Committee are Linda Patterson, Dana Lagasse, Vern Thompson and Linda White. The Select Board spoke about organizational rules and committee meeting procedures.
3.Approval of Accounts Payable Warrant #102Payroll Warrant #103
Motion by Wayne Kraeger to approve the Accounts Payable Warrant #102; Seconded by Peter Curley. VOTE: 3-0.
4.Authorization of Changed 2015 Annual Town Meeting Warrant
The Board authorized the warrant by signing. The actual acceptance motion was made at the May 21, 2015 evening meeting. Because of last minute changes, the actual warrant had not been signed that evening.
5.Declaration of Final Drafts of Ordinance and Ordinance changes
Motion by Peter Curley to declare the 5 fore mentioned ordinances as final (for the Town Meeting vote); Seconded by Wayne Kraeger. VOTE: 3-0.
6.Review of RSU #20 Budget Position Statement
Motion by Peter Curley to authorize the RSU#20 FY16 Budget position statement; Seconded by Wayne Kraeger. VOTE: 3-0.
On behalf of the Board, Peter will attend the RSU budget meeting set for Friday evening 5/29
7.Addressing Ordinance Discussion
The Board will review the current ordinance to determine if it should be updated.
8.Parking Ordinance Draft (potentially)
The Board reviewed the draft. Further discussion was tabled until all members had a chance to read it.
9.Adjourn to Workshop Session
Motion by Wayne Kraeger to adjourn to a work shop session at 11:30 a.m.; Seconded by Peter Curley. VOTE: 3-0.

1.Select Board Member Concerns & Comments
There was a discussion concerning flags put up by the Public Works Department. As there are 2 roads in Town that have flags- Main Street and Hersey Retreat Road, Board members will drive these areas prior to the next meeting.
Peter asked if the Stockton Springs Police Department could send information to the newspapers showing their activity.
