A.  Meeting was called to order at 7:07 PM by Andy Paradee.

B.  Amend Agenda for Matters not listed (New): Town Fair – October 5th and 6th to be held at the Champlain Valley Expo – vote Jeff Parizo as the representative for PC. VTrans grant available – sidewalks, bikes, etc. Deadline is October 2nd with a 50/50 match from the town – present members nominate Jeff to look.

C.  Guest: No guests.

D.  Capital Plan Update: Shawn Mercy emailed NRPC – nothing as of yet. Next meeting will be with the Selectboard. What is to be presented to the SB should be reviewed by PC first.

E.  Community Survey: Shawn Mercy emailed Adam White, Chair of the Selectboard. There has been no word back yet. Still trying to determine where drop off locations and time of completion deadlines. The survey should be delivered to all residents instead of just tax payers or registered voters of the town.

F.  Updates from Other Meeting(s) Attendance – David Graham gives the board an update from the Recreation Committee – pre-allocated funds used to install a volleyball court with 12” of sand – it will be a regulation size field. The trail has progressed with lots of work from many community members and organizations. Eagle Scouts project included building a bridge – local fellow built picnic tables – gravel from the town for lower lying spots. The trail is now 8/10 of a mile long. Lloyd Douglass and Ross Christie both of the Mason have more than 100 hours with chainsaws cutting brush cutting time. GIVFD came on a training evening to put cuttings through a chipper. The trail will be used for walking, hiking and jogging. A formal grand opening is being planned for sometime in September. Previous local events the recreation committee has pulled together would include the turkey trot and trunk or treat. Trash for dog “poop” has been installed at the park and the beach. Park regulations are being reviewed for any updates as they are about 20 years old.

G.  Review & Approve Minutes: 08/02/16 – A motion is made by David Graham to accept the minutes. Seconded by Shawn Mercy. No discussion. Members vote. All are in favor. Motion carried.
