Great news! Our colleagues in the GADOE School and District Effectiveness Division will be hosting a Mathematics Summer Professional Learning Institute for Georgia educators onJuly 10 – 12, 2018, at theMacon Centreplex. We are excited to partner with them on this opportunity to provide high-quality professional learning for our teachers. Dear School and District Leaders,
The Division of School and District Effectiveness in partnership with The Division of Teaching and Learning will be hosting a Math Summer Institute onJuly 10-12, 2018. Participants will engage in authentic, hands-on application of our GA Mathematics Standards of Excellence with a focus on vertical progressions. The interactive sessions will be led by Georgia Master Educators.

Dates and Location
The Mathematics Summer Institute will be held onJuly 10-12, 2018, at theMacon Centreplexin Macon, GA. This is a three-day training. The primary audience for the Math Summer Institute is GA math educators.
Tentative Agenda
- 8:00 AM – 9:00 AMContinental Breakfast and Registration
- 9:00 AM – 4:00 PMSessions will be provided for Grades K-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-7, and Grades 8-10
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Agenda Highlights
- Participants will receive all materials, handouts, and resources utilized in the three-day training to take back to their schools to use in their classrooms.
Registration
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.Please register byApril 16, 2018using the link below. Participants are expected to attend all three days of the Math Summer Institute. The trainings will be organized in grade level bands (K-2, 3-4, 5-7, 8-10).

Registration Fee
- There will be a registration fee of $450 per person. Each participant will receive an electronic invoice afterApril 16andpayment must be received byMay 18, 2018in order to attend the institute.

Lodging is available at the Macon Marriott. Please usethe instructions and group codesbelow to secure the conference rate for lodging byMay 25, 2018.
