Meeting called to order by President Martens at 6:00pm.

FIRE DEPT. REPORT

1.  November Activities – Update

November Activities Reported by Chief Gross: APPARATUS & EQUIPMENT-all in good working order; HYDRANTS-all working; FIRE/EMERGENCY CALLS-4....1-MVA, 1-grass fire involving power lines, 1-natural gas leak & 1-lift assist; MEMBERSHIP & MEETINGS-Voted on 1 new member in Nov & will be voting on 1 fully trained member at tonight’s’ meeting…he just moved into our area & came from a different fire dept.; TRAINING-hose testing; INSPECTIONS-all up to date; DONATIONS & FUNDRAISERS-$1000.00 grant from WPS for PPE; MISC-Risner building is ready for DPW to move his things into…rent & everything is taken care of.

PUBLIC WORKS REPORT

1.  November Activites – Update

November Activities Reported by K.Schutte: Fixed light on Village hall & finished tuck pointing on block; pick rocks at park for batting cage; hauled out leaves at recycle area; finished pavement on Maple St....project complete; cleaned out planter boxes; Christmas light decorating is being done; flag on bump outs installed & ready for winter season.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

1.  TID Construction – Update

Schutte reported said the building is done.....by January 1st they should be moved in to the new building.

2.  Developers Agreement w/Dairyland – Accept or Deny

C/T Schutte said still waiting to hear back from either attorney Vande Castle or Dairyland.

3.  Gold Shovel Program - Discussion

Martens said he has been in contact w/Ann Hartnell regarding the “Gold Shovel Program” in Marinette Cty.....this program is a data base for “shovel ready” sites for anyone interested in building a business....it will start first at County level, then State & finally Federal…..VOP will be included as one of the municipalities at the forefront of this program.

OLD BUSINESS

1.  9th Annual Pound Christmas Parade of Lights - Update

C/T Schutte said everything is getting ready to go & there will be tree & wreaths for drawing

2.  LRIP Funding – Decision regarding reimbursement

Martens stated we will not be receiving the reimbursement for Maple St due to a failure in advertising the project properly.....a Class 2 notice & stating it was a LRIP.....we will be able to receive it for a different project & have until June 30, 2021 to submit a project, per Lorrie Olson, WDOT Program Manager email.
