TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE OF THE FACILITIES
BOOKING CONDITIONS:
- 100% payment is required to secure a booking, and it is due 2 (two)working days prior to the event taking place.
- 50% deposit is required 1 (one)calendar week prior to the event.
- There shall be no pasting of posters or handbills on the walls, pillars, fence or properties of the Institute.
- A walkthrough by the Event Organiser/Facilitator at least 1 (one) day prior to the eventto confirm arrangements and setupis required.
PLEASE NOTE: NON-COMPLIANCE WITH ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN AGREEMENT MEANS NO BOOKING!

Executive Boardroom A (16 person capacity) / N 50,000 per day/

Seminar Room A (30 person capacity) / N 30,000 per day
Seminar Room B (20 person capacity) / N 20,000 per day
Kitchen and catering area / N 10,000 per day
A fully refundable cleaning surcharge of N 25,000 is payable.
PAYMENT:
- Payments are to be made into the following account: Gusau Institute Ltd/Gte; Unity Bank;Bakori House Branch, Ahmadu Bello Way, Kaduna; Account Number 0023126628.
POSTPONEMENT, CANCELLATION AND REFUND:
- Postponement of booking is allowed with not less than 48 hours notice to date of event. A second request for postponement will be deemed as a cancellation.
- Cancellation will incur an administration fee of 20% to be deducted from the deposit to be refunded.
OPERATING CONDITIONS:
- The facilities are available from 08h00 to 18h00 during the day and from 19h00 to 23h00 for evening sessions.(Additional fees will apply for evening sessions.)
- Damages to the Institute’s properties will be billed to the client.
- Alcohol is not allowed in the conference facilities. If alcohol is found, it will be confiscated and the client will be barred from future use of the premises.
AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT:
- Equipment required for a function is to be discussed with the IT Coordinator at the time of the booking. Additional rental fees may apply.
MOVING-IN MOVING-OUT:
- Written authorisation is required for furniture and/or equipment to be brought into or removed from the premises in accordance with the stated times on the booking form.
- The client must ensure that all equipment is removed immediately the event ends. The Institute will not be held accountable and/orliable for any damage or losses.
- Cars are not to block entrances under any circumstances.
CATERING:
- Catering needs must be cleared with the Venue Administrator a week prior to the event.
- Food and beverages are restricted to the hallways and designated dining areas.
- Organisers can use their own caterers on condition that all arrangements (such as access to the kitchen and equipment) are cleared by the Caterer with the Venue Administrator 2 (two) days prior to the event.
PARKING:
- Vehicles are parked at owners’ risk.
- Absolute NO overnight sleeping in parked vehicles on the premisesis allowed.
CLEANING:
- All clients are required to maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness.
- Caterers should leave the kitchen and catering areas in the same condition as they found them. Otherwise the cleaning surcharge will not be refunded.
