PRIMARY
Learning & Teaching / / A toolkit to support Subject Leaders and teachers with the following key areas:
☺  Effective assessment for learning practices
☺  Planning for progression from the Primary Framework including 90 unit overviews - one for every unit in every block in every year.
☺  Effective questioning – Enhanced versions of the AfL questions in the Primary Framework in PPT format to enable use with whole class, guided group work or individuals
☺  Effective dialogue
☺  Peer and self assessment – paper and electronic versions
☺  Assessing for progression including resources such as ‘Building a Picture’ grids, a ‘Levelopaedia’ for each national curriculum level and an electronic version of the National Strategies APP grid incorporating learning outcomes and probing questions
☺  Interactive Yearly objective overviews incorporating the progression in ‘I can …’ statements
Planning Overviews / Each unit overview is double sided and supports the planning process for every unit in every block in every year.
-  Side 1 is the ‘big picture’ of the unit including prior learning, Key vocabulary, Learning overview, APP opportunities, models and images, support for more and less able children and speaking and listening opportunities.
-  Side 2 includes learning intentions and outcomes for the unit with features such as ‘I can ..’ statements, suggested ICT resources, Pitch and Expectations and AfL questions.
Effective Dialogue / A resource designed to support teachers in engineering effective dialogue and discussions. The intended learning for each objective from every unit in the Primary Framework is made explicit by having an appropriate ‘I can ..’statement, linked a probing question and suggested ‘Pitch and Expectation’ question.
Planning for Progression / Progression grids to support teachers with effective differentiation and provision for all children in their class. Objectives have been matched with ‘I can...’ statements, probing questions and ‘Pitch and Expectation’ questions so that when teaching within a specific strand, a teacher can consider the progression of learning across year groups.

ToPS in Mathematics / To prove successful in Mathematics is designed to support teachers and students, linking activities linked to each of the objectives from Y7 to Y11 in the new secondary framework.

students to use and apply their knowledge in order to solve problems. The resource has been designed for use electronically or paper.

Handling Data / A set of interactive EXCEL resources, based around the Handling Data Y7, 8 and 9 Key Indicators
¦glosmaths dfun / A collection of learning and assessment resources developed as part of a series of eleven INSET courses to promote an inclusive and interactive approach to the teaching and learning of the C1 to C4 units at AS/A2.

Subject Leadership / M.O.T‘Maths On Track’ / A pack designed to promote discussion, reflection and support Subject Leaders, and consultants working with Subject Leaders, to evaluate their department and address the two key questions; ‘How well are we doing?’ and How can we do better?
Department handbook / An exemplar of a department handbook with policies, procedures and teaching and learning sections. The document has been written in WORD with the facility of mail merge to personalise it to a specific department.
Assessment / KEY OBJECTIVE ASSESSMENTS / A set of medium term assessments designed to track progress against the NNS Y6, 7,8,9 and 9Ext Key Objectives / All assessments are diagnostic by design and are complemented with a virtual mark book to analyse both individual student and whole class performance.
MAKE THE GRADE / A collection of assessments designed for students working at grades D,C,B and A that target each of the topic areas Number, Algebra, Shape, Space & Measures and Handling Data. All assessments contain classic misconceptions and mistakes and aim to assess fluency.
ON TARGET / A set of medium term assessments using past paper questions to track progress for the key curriculum areas of each of the AS/A2 C1 to C4 specifications
