Brief Description:
At this seminar we will look at Runway Incursions. We will discuss what constitutes a runway incursion as well as how pilots can avoid having a runway incursion. We will look at airport signage and lighting. We will use interactive flash cards to review runway and taxiway signs and markings. We will also look at Land and Hold Short Operations (LAHSO) with how pilots might handle that landing clearance. Lastly, we will look at pre-flight planning and an FAA lesson on runway incursion avoidance.
