Ancient Hebrew Scrolls Rubric

  • Does each section of the scroll contain all original artwork that is creative and neatly presented?
  • Does each section of the scroll depict at least two historical scenes or graphic elements related to the subject matter (Abraham, Moses, David and Solomon)?
  • Does each section of the scroll contain at least two important achievements each of them did with details and it must be accurate information obtained from the Chapter 11 assigned reading and notes? Is all text typed or written neatly with correct punctuation, capitalization, grammar, etc?
  • Are the three sections of the scroll neatly assembled? Do the three sections of the scroll complement (go together) each other?
  • Is each section of the scroll filled entirely (or nearly entirely) with artwork and text?
  • Does each section of the scroll contain two Torah quotations with explanations of their importance?

Scroll Group Grade (100 pts.)

A 90-100 points: All of the above criteria are met with few/minor exceptions.

B 80-89 points: Most of the above criteria are met.

C 70-79 points: Some of the above criteria are met; Key criteria are missing.

D 60-69 points: Little of the above criteria are met.

F 0-59points: The assignment falls short of meeting the above criteria.
