LAKE LINDEN VILLAGE CAMPGROUND

RESERVATION POLICY

4th of July Reservation Policy.

·  The doors will be opened at 8am on the first business day following New Years Day. People there in person shall be given the opportunity to reserve one campsite. Rustic sites can also be reserved.

·  Payment must be made for a minimum of three nights ($69) at that time. Only one site per person in line.

·  There will be a $25 cancellation fee for 4th of July sites. This will help reduce the number of sites reserved.

·  Once all people in line are given a site (8am) phone reservations will be taken. One site per caller and with a time frame for payment.

·  A waiting list will then be filled from walk-ins and phone calls after that. These people will be called upon cancellations or non-payment for the full sites.

·  This allows village and local residents first chance at the sites and also a chance for visitors to reserve sites as well. (The “waiting line” has not filled all the sites in the past so I believe there will be some available for phone reservations.)

·  Waiting list names will be called as sites open. Names will be added to the list in the order they are received with no preference given to those coming in person or those calling in.

Reservation Policy (Non Independence Day)

·  Reservations can be made by contacting the Village offices or with the campground host. Drive-ins are accepted but are subject to availability.

·  Payments for sites can be made to the campground host.

·  If a reservation card with your name on it is posted you may enter the site and begin setup. If not, please contact the campground host or the Village staff at 906-296-9911 during business hours.

·  There is a maximum stay of 7 nights without prior approval from the Village office. After 7 nights an extension can be sought but is subject to availability.

Group Reservation policy

·  For groups requiring more than three sites a Group representative must be designated. This representative will be the contact person for issues involving the group. The campground host will relay information to the group only through this person. This person will be responsible for rule violations of the group and subject to discipline up to and including forfeiture of their site.

·  Reservations for groups needing more than three sites require pre-payment. Prepayments can be refunded if notice is given more than one week prior to reservations, minus a $23 cancellation fee.

·  Weekend reservations must be made for both Friday and Saturday nights. Names must be submitted two weeks before the stay so reservations are site-specific for the group’s stay. If this information is not submitted the sites will be forfeited and made available to the public.

·  There will be no sub-letting or switching of sites once the reservations have been made. Village office staff only (excluding campground host) will be authorized to make adjustments to pre-paid reservations.
