Notes:

  • You are expected to keep track honorably, and remember why you are undertaking this challenge!
  • Vary your shot selection, and incorporate proper techniques – i.e. Triple threat position, drive, pull-up… shoot!
  • Have fun with your log. Consider tracking percentages, and where you take your shots. Are you better on one side of the court or the other? See how you improve!
  • Don’t take shots outside ‘your range’. Shooting from too far out promotes poor shooting technique – relying on your shoulder and pushing the ball to get it to the basket. THIS program is meant to promote both QUALITY and QUANTITY of shooting!
  • Your shot club log can be personalized and up to you, but it should be accurate.

Game Shots: Game shots vary by player, but should be shots you would expect to take in a game.

Game Speed: Taking shots as if you were in a game will build your strength and shooting techniques.

Parent Involvement: Parents do not have to watch and record every shot. Parents simply need to attest that you had the time and opportunity to take the shots you’ve recorded. Remember, we trust that you live to your commitments!

COST: To partially offset the cost of the shirts, and to show your commitment – signing up for the 10k program will cost $15. This money will directly go to offset CAYBBA costs to order the shirts.

LOGGING YOUR SHOTS:

  1. All shots must be completed by September 30th. Logs are due by October 5. All shooting logsshould be turned directly to NANCY BOYLE, 9314 Rhoy Avenue Chaska, MN 55318or by October 5for review and confirmation.
