So I have completed my first full week at the WFYFC and I think the above picture just about sums it up. That said I am very much enjoying the new challenge and would like to say thank you to everyone who has been so friendly and supportive this week. I am very much looking forward to meeting the rest of WFYFC family.

Plant Breeding and Trials Assistant
DSV UK Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of DSV AG, Germany. Our company is an established world leader in plant breeding, production, sales and marketing of a wide range of agricultural crops.
Situated near Banbury, Oxfordshire. We are a small team developing new varieties of forage grass, wheat and oilseed rape for the UK farmer. We now need a new assistant to help with all aspects of our field trial work, including drilling, spraying, fertilising and harvesting. Much of the work will involve operating, maintaining and sometimes repairing various agricultural machines. Training will be provided if the successful candidate does not already have spraying qualifications.
The objective is to produce high quality data which is used in the breeding and selection processes. Attention to detail is therefore essential for this role, and since much of the work is mechanised, the candidate should ideally have at least basic training in agricultural mechanics.
