The 1st prize essays will be published online. It will be possible to access them from the Russian Teachers’ Group UK website and (from June 2014).

2nd place

a theatre ticket to see “The Cherry Orchard” at the Young Vic Theatrein Londonon8thNovember 2014 at 2.30. Could the winners in this category please confirm their availability to attend the playto ?

Please note that those who live outside London should make their own way to the theatre: transportation costs to the theatre and back are the responsibility of the students and/or their teachers.

If the winners cannot attend a play, they will receive books, CDs or DVDs instead of the theatre ticket.

3rd place

a ticket tothe Tate Modernin London to see a Malevich exhibition running on16 July –26 October 2014. Could the winners in this category please confirm their availability and preferred dates to attend the exhibition to ?

Please note that those who live outside London should make their own way to the art gallery: transportation costs to the gallery and back are the responsibility of the students and/or their teachers.

If the winners cannot visit the art gallery, they will receive books, CDs or DVDs instead of the ticket to the exhibition.

2nd and 3rd places

The winners may be awarded one of the following on a first come first served basis.

1)a free annual membership at Pushkin House in London 16+ only please(there are 4 memberships at our disposal);

2)an annual subscription to Russian Life magazine (there are 3 subscriptions available);

3)an annual subscription to Русская мысль magazine (there are 3 subscriptions at our disposal);

4)an internship for 15-16 year old winners inCategory 1 only, i.e., a practice/training, for a week at Pushkin House in London are 2 internships available).
