FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH: Registration Deadline – Registration must be received by this date (with all players & sponsors dues – check or money orders only, please). If we receive your registration after this date or full payment is not included – your registration may not be accepted. Registrations will be accepted by mail. Kelly will be at the office (NYPENN Trade Ctr., 435 Main Street, Johnson City, NY 13790) from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, September 30th to accept registrations and full payment for your team.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9TH, 1:00 p.m. - GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING AND PACKET PICK-UP:Player’s and sponsor’s are encouraged to attend this brief meeting that will last around 1 hour to review formats, the Charter and to answer questions from league members and sponsors. Packet pickup held at: BINGHAMTON MOOSE CLUB, 224 HENRY STREET, BINGHAMTON, NY 13901. Please note: Only the Captain or rostered member of your team can pick up your packet. If a team representative does not sign for the packet – your team will be penalized 5 points. THIS IS A MANDATORY MEETING!!!!

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11TH- 7:00 P.M. - OPENING NIGHT OF DARTS

Did You Know:

  • The STDL Fall/Winter Season is 22 weeks long, + 2 weeks of playoffs + finals.
  • League entry fees are $90 per team for sponsors and $20 per player for a total of $170 based on a 4-person team.
  • You may expand your roster to more than 4 – however, each player must pay their league dues. If you intend on having a roster with more than 4 players – you must provide us with this information prior to Week 4 of the Fall/Winter Season and pay an additional $20/player.
  • We have Conferences designed to fit your skill level. Beginners are welcome!
  • We have an Awards Party at the end of our Fall/Winter Season.
  • You may have 2 teams for each dart board at your establishment.

Registration deadline isFRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH. Registrations can be mailed or dropped off at the office. Please make payment by check or money order.

CAPTAIN’S INFORMATION

Please read the Charter in it’s entirety – and keep a copy with you during the season. Pay close attention to Article IV, “Duties of the Captain”.

CONFERENCE PLACEMENT

The STDL uses a player’s last conference ranking to place your team in a conference as well as

the Conference that your team requests. We will not place a team in a requested conference if that team is rated higher than the other teams in that Conference, but we could place a team in a higher conference, if requested. Beginners are always encouraged and will usually start in the lowest conference.

BOARD INSPECTIONS:

The STDL Inspection Teams will be around to inspect set-ups prior to the start of the season to ensure board set-ups conform to A.D.O. standards. As a captain/sponsor it is your responsibility to provide and maintain a league play dart board which must be deemed acceptable to both home and visiting teams and certified for play by the STDL. A Board Inspection Sheet will be left with you and must be made available to any team that requests it of you. See the STDL Charter, Article XI “Equipment”.

SPONSOR INFORMATION:

You are permitted to have two teams per dart board in your establishment. We will send out a representative to inspect the throwing area, board and lighting. It is very important that any suggestions that are made – are followed up on. Copies of the inspection sheets are kept on file and if there are any complaints from visiting teams as to the condition of the board, throwing area or lighting, it could lead to loss of points for the home team. It is expected that the board be regulation and in good shape.

Please fill out the registration form included in this packet. Remember that the registration deadline is FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH. You can mail the registration with payment enclosed to STDL, 435 Main Street, Johnson City, NY or drop it off at the office at NYPENN Trade Center, 435 Main Street, Suite 48, Johnson City, NY. Please make sure that we have a contact number for the bar as well as contact information for the Captain and all team members.
