We are living in a world that has exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worship and serve created things rather than the Creator (Romans 1:25). Just look around and see the fruit of following a lie ~ hopelessness and chaos.
What is Truth? What does it look like when we walk in His Truth? How does walking in His Truth change our lives? You will learn the answer to these questions and much more.
If you want to know His promises and His teachings for wise godly living, we invite you to come and learn what Bible study will do for you…
· It will deepen your knowledge and understanding of God’s Truth.
· It will teach and equip you to put God’s Truth into your thinking, decision making and prayer.
· It will excite and encourage you to walk in His Truth and put it into practice.
Registration Instructions:
You will find a registration form at the end of this booklet. Please turn in the completed registration form along with your check (no cash please) made out to CEFC.
1. Class schedules do vary, so please note the dates and times of the class you are signing up for.
2. If the class you are signing up for starts in September, please turn in your registration and check by August 22, 2013
3. If you are going to take classes starting in January 2014, please turn in your registration and check by December 22, 2013.
4. If you plan to bring your completed registration form and check to the church, you will find envelopes on the table by the Women’s Ministries office door located in the Fellowship Hall. Please deposit your envelope in the Mail Box located in the Women’s Ministries office door, or mail it to the church office, 2315 East Ventura Blvd., Camarillo, CA 93010, attention Women’s Ministries.
Little Learners Bible Study Program: Morning Bible study classes will have child care available for children from birth to 5 years. If you bring children with you to Bible study, please make sure you register them on the Little Learner Registration form at the end of this booklet.

PRAYER AND SPIRITUAL
WARFARE

Scripture tells us that all Christians are in a spiritual battle; yet few of us are aware of the scope of the war. We have an enemy whose goal is to destroy us. Most believers are caught off-guard when the enemy strikes; we don’t know how to recognize his tactics and we are ill-prepared to fight back. In this study we will discover the “weapons of our warfare” that God has given to assure our victory. As we learn how to pray powerful prayers that move the very hand of God our confidence and faith in Christ will grow. We will become prepared to “fight the good fight.”
DISCERNING THE TIMES

This “crash course” leads the student through the basics of Biblical prophecy. Learn how to understand God’s plan for the future, and discern the world events going on around you through the lens of His Word.
As you recognize the hand of God moving in the world it will impact your daily life on a practical level and will encourage you as never before about the future!

BELIEVING GOD

“Believing God” examines what it means to believe God rather than only believing in Him. Through studying the lives of Abraham, Moses, and others from Hebrews 11 as examples of those who believe in God, Beth Moore encourages women to deepen their own trust in God and receive a fresh word from Him. This is a study with weekly one-hour video sessions featuring Beth’s teaching. It will also include discussion and prayer time. Be prepared to do 30 minutes of homework for each of the 5 daily lessons. Because this is a small group study of 8 women, it will be offered in the fall and the spring. / Dates: 10/2/13-11/20/13

We do live in a world that has an abundance of legitimate fear factors, and we are able to develop lots of phobias that waste precious time and energy. The Confident Parenting study is designed to help parents with children of all ages know how to develop a positive, practical foundation to help their kids stay on the right path.

Thursday Morning/ CALL TO HOLINESS

This will be a 12 part series in which the focus will be seeking how to have a life that is HOLY before the Lord. This is one in which God Himself is the center, based upon His Holy Word. We are called to become HOLY! There are no optional callings. As God’s children, He desires that each day we walk closely with Him and develop spiritual discipline for our daily lives. Jeremiah gives simple and straight-forward guidance for this task:
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me. I will be found by you, says the LORD…..Jeremiah 29: 11-14a(NLT)
Yes, it is easy to see God in the big things but more difficult is the task to see God in the everyday routine activities. Our goal is to see God in the day to day, moment by moment, step by step activities that each one of us face on a daily basis; therefore, we dedicate this 12 session study to learning how to accept our “Call to Holiness” and make it a ROUTINE SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE for our lives. / Dates: 9/12/13-3/13/14

LITTLE LEARNERS
The Little Learners program will be an age-graded program with activities to grow children in all areas of spiritual, mental, social and physical development. Each week we will have a teaching theme which includes Bible truths, language arts, music, creative expression, large and small motor skills, and math and science exploration. Our goal is to provide a quality learning time for your Little Learners as you feast on God’s Word yourselves.
