MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order at 6:35 pm.

ATTENDANCE:

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: April minutes were approved.

MEMBER FORUM: no guest present

NEIGHBORHOOD REPRESENTATIVES:

Next meeting: May 14th, 2011

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE

- 470 Palm Springs Way- shed variance discussion. Pete will seek board approval after location, color and roof specifics are provided by the homeowner.

- 14440 Bermuda Dunes Way – issues with the height and location of fence. Further discussion between Pete and homeowner is necessary before approval.

COVENANT CONTROL COMMITTEE

- Review of Current Violations:

-- 2 old, 9 new, 5 closed.

-- 1st notice sent to 14280 Gleneagle Dr. regarding unlicensed vehicle stored in driveway.

-- 90 Huntington Beach Drive - will continue to monitor regarding the cleanup of yard. Some improvement evident since letter sent.

-- 235 Cherry Hills Way - Dumpster in driveway. CCC will wait since it looks like project is under way again.

-- 365 Wuthering Heights Dr. - Blown down fence. Art will follow up with homeowners.

-- 13950 Westchester - Gordon reported an abandoned car on property. Art will look into this issue.

FINANCIAL REPORT

-44.8% of dues paid

-Board approved expenses since last meeting.

-Gordon is still working with Trivian on the Financial Review.

-Tax return is to be filed by Trivian

-Gordon will look into Lien notices

ROADS, SIGNS & DITCHES COMMITTEE

- 3 stop signs and 2 road signs were blow over by high winds last month, and all signs have been repaired.

- Pothole repair request have been sent to the county.

- No decision from the county regarding resurfacing of Wuthering Heights for Spring/Summer 2011.

COMMON AREAS COMMITTEE

- Nothing new was reported.

PLANNING COMMITTEE

Donala Water Advisory Committee meeting - 4 water reclamation options were discussed but all are very expensive. Donala town hall meeting may be delayed.

EAGLE’S VIEW

-Next edition will print on May 16th.

-Jennifer Crockett has agreed to become a co-editor.

- Email with a link to the newsletter on the GCA website will be sent out this month. - - Melissa is to meet with Jim Evans to check on adding document and sending email.

OLD BUSINESS

- Garage Sale Planning - June 10, 11, 2011. Advertising is underway.

- Potluck Picnic - planning committee will meet May 15th at 3pm.

- Technology – Almost unlimited space on current website. Ted said there is a good possibility to link ACC with the current GCA website. Ted will look into having Wi-Fi at Antelope Trails and Gleneagle Golf Course so we can have paperless meetings.

NEW BUSINESS

- Blue Ribbon Awards - We still need more volunteers/Judges.

AROUND THE TABLE

- Melissa brought up question about a community springs clean up day. Not in the GCA’s plans at this time.

- Art and Tim will discuss NEPCO meeting next week.
