McRock IIoT Awards 2018
As part of its upcoming McRock IIoT Symposium 2018, McRock is pleased to announce the McRock IIoT Awards 2018.
The 2018awards:
- IIoT Diversity Leader of the Year: awarded to an organization in the IIoT space that has demonstrated a consistent pattern of breaking barriers to promote workplace diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- IIoT Corporate Leader of the Year: awarded to a large corporation demonstrating a unique and successful IIoT solution deployment internally or with a customer.
- IIoT Entrepreneur of the Year: awarded to an individual that has experienced success in the IIoT as a founder and/or business leader in setting strategy, a developer creating a product, and everything in between.
The attached nomination form outlines the eligibility and evaluation criteria. We are seeking nominees around the globe and would greatly appreciate your help in nominating companies and individuals in the IIoT industry.
Please submit all submissions by email to and by midnight on Friday, May 11, 2018.
Award recipients will be honoured at the Gala Awards at the McRock IIoT Symposium 2018 to be held at the Montreal Science Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Who Can Nominate:
Individuals, organizations, and investors can submit nominations. Self-nominations are permitted.
Prizes:
The Recipients of the McRock IIoT Awards 2018 will receive:
- Two complementary VIP passes to the McRock IIoT Symposium 2018 with the opportunity to deliver an acceptance speech to an audience of corporate executives, entrepreneurs and investors;
- Coverage in McRock IIoT Report 2018; and
- A trophy recognizing the recipient of the McRock IIoT Award 2018.
Selection Process
Once received, all applications will be screened by an Independent Selection Committee for eligibility purposes. The applications will then be evaluated according to a standard grid based on the predetermined evaluation criteria. Once all applications have been evaluated, the Independent Selection Committee will determine the winner for each award. The winners will be notified on or before May 25, 2018.
IIoT Diversity Leader of the Year
Award Details
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the IIoT Diversity Leader of the Year, the nominated company must:
- Be a corporation; and
- Have developed/provided solutionwithin the IIoT industry.
Evaluation Criteria:
The Independent Selection Committee will choose the IIoT Diversity Leader of the Yearbased on the following:
- Demonstrated success in attracting, recruiting, and professionally developing individuals to increase the diversity of the company;
- Demonstrated outstanding efforts to cultivate an environment free from bias and discrimination; and;
- Created activities, sponsors, and/or actively promoted programs, initiatives, and/or projects that promote a diverse and inclusive corporate culture.
