I called up my Mazda Dealer to find out how much it would cost to get a tune up for my Mazda RX8, They told me around 350. Bucks. After picking my self off of the floor I began looking for someone else that could work on that type of car. When doing a web search on POPS Automotive center, I spoke with Grace and I asked her can they do a tune up on my RX8' she told me that she needed to speak with Eddie. Eddie then called me and told me that he could do a tune up for a round 100.00 Bucks. So I drive by the shop where from all of the family pictures on the wall that this is a family owned business, Eddie comes right up to me and looks me dead in the eyes and HEY! IM EDDIE. I had my son in the car so Eddie says just take my car home, I'm like wow, I told him no thanks, all I need is a ride home and that I have our mini van that I could drive. So Grace rides with me home and she drove my car back to the shop. So the next day Ed calls me and says it's going to be a little more because my car needed more parts, So I told him ok just fix it, and asked him to replace a fog light and a peanut light, So after removing the front bumper because it has to come off to replace the fog lights and getting a tune up and 2 peanut lights replace it was only 400. Bucks! Not only did they take care of me but my car stayed in the garage on both nights just keeping my baby safe! POPS AUTOMOTIVE CENTER Will be doing all of my work all of my cars from now on! The first time I went to Pops’ place, was to have my inspection done. The guy treated me like family, he was very nice and helpful. He came to mind as time came for my wife’s brakes to be replaced. I took her car to him that evening but given that he had other cars in the shop and was soon closing, e asked me to bring the car early the following morning so he can get it done quickly and continue on with his other tasks. Unfortunately, I work at 7am and his shop opens at 8am. My wife works at 8am and she was driving to another part of town after work. As I was concerned about her driving the car without the new brakes, Pops suggested bringing the car 15mis earlier and use his car temporarily. I worked out better because my wife’s job was just about a mile from the shop. You don’t find many mechanics that will present such an offer, and for that I THANK YOU Pops (Eddie). You’re a good man.
