Warranty Returns:

The Crowcon Warranty department is committed to providing an efficient service to our customers and agents.

Please find below packaging guidelines for any returns. These guidelines will help us ensure we provide you with an efficient service.

Please give as much information on the fault condition and tests you have carried out to confirm that the item is faulty, this will assist us to make a quick diagnosis.

Any return which has no date code visible must be documented as to which unit the part came from, or when it was purchased. Returns with no correspondence or confirmation of age may be rejected.

Items for warranty should be returned in a complete / fully assembled condition and packed securely.

All electronic components (including sensor modules) must be returned in individual ESD bags.

Individual batteries should have the wires/contacts insulated when packed.

When returning XGard sensors, the whole assembly (PCB and black plastic cover) must be returned. Connection pins on XGard sensor modules should have the keeper PCB fitted, if unavailable the sensor module should be packaged in such a way as to protect the pins. Transit damaged pins will snap when straightened this results in the module being unable to be tested.

Crowcon reserve the right to reject warranty if returned modules are inadequately packaged.

Crowcon will endeavour to process all warranty claims as quickly as possible and the addition of the Crowcon returns Number “CRN“ on your documentation will speed up this process considerably.
