Volunteer drivers will pick up and drop off a maximum of 12 passengers from the Spalding and Pinchbeck area for day care sessions. Hours are flexible.

Escorts for Drivers (SH) Age UK - Spalding District (SH)

Escorts are required to assist the drivers on the minibuses' taking elderly people from their homes to the Day Centre in Spalding. Mon to Fri 9.00 to 10.30 and 15.00 to 16.30pm. Days and times to be negotiated to suit volunteer. - No driving required

Car Drivers (SH) Crowland Cares (SH)

volunteer drivers are required to transport elderly people to a variety of appointments, some health related and some social. Must have own vehicle fit for purpose and insured.

Mentor (SH) Lincolnshire Action Trust (SH)

You will be expected to undertake a role model and befriending position interacting with our clients advising, signposting and generally offering levels of support.

Sooty Box Collector (SH) Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) (SH)

After training and with support, the volunteer will use their initiative to generate income for the RNIB, within a set area of the community. You will also develop and manage links between yourself, RNIB, local site holders and the local community.

The Volunteer will use their initiative to develop links with store managers/Head of store merchandise, to profitably generate income by collecting, counting, reciepting and then banking, the proceeds from store collections within the local communty

To assist in providing the activities of the Youth Centre, and possibly to implement new activities. Anyone with a financial background may also be able to assist with the completion of funding applications and general administration.

Home Visitors (SH) South Lincolnshire Blind Society (SH)

To visit visually impaired people in South Holland in their own homes, to provide some companionship, possibly some reading if required, no personal care or housework involved.

To help South Lincs Blind Society to raise funds, which could be by supporting local events including store collections, coffee mornings, tombolas, craft stalls. Or to organise your own fundraising event with supervision.
