A message from your Student Council sponsors
Hello and welcome to the students who have chosen to experience the Civic minded, rewarding world of Student Council. The attached application form needs to be filled out completely for 2009-2010 Student Council representative consideration. Each applicant must have a recommendation from two teachers, one of whom must be their homeroom teacher as well as a brief personal statement. All applications must also have the signature of their parents. You must then return the completed application to the front office by Wednesday, September 2, 2009. You will be notified of the outcome by Friday, September 4, 2009.

STUDENT COUNCIL INFORMATION 2009-2010
Expect to work
Expect to meet once a month for full Student Council meetings as well as weekly committee meetings (dates and times to be announced)
Expect to be responsible for your grades and behavior
Expect to represent the student body and the school in a positive manner
Expect to be an active participant in the running of the Student Council
Expect to give occasional reports to classes, administrators, sponsors, other student council reps, the school board, etc.
Expect to give input on school/community projects
Expect to work with various school groups such as the PTO, counselor, school administration, etc.
Expect to support school functions
Expect to be a “Positive” role model
Expect to help others
Expect to have FUN!
