Rules

  • Cost to play is $15 for each pick sheet. There is no limit on the number of pick sheets a player can submit.
  • The object of the Survivor pool is to be the last active player.
  • In order to accomplish this goal, a user must correctly pick the winner of one professional NFL football game each week.
  • But, to make this somewhat simple task more difficult, each user can only pick each professional football team once during the season.
  • If a correct selection is made, the user will remain active for the following week.
  • Two (2) incorrect selections (loss) and that user will be Eliminated.
  • No point spreads are used. The team just has to win.
  • The last player remaining wins 50% of the pot up to a $1000maximum payout.
  • If you select a team that is on a bye for the week, that will count as a loss. You will be ultimately responsible for keeping track of what teams are playing each week.
  • Games that end in a tie are a loss.
  • If there are two or more remaining players after week 17, or the pool ends before then, the tiebreaker will be in order as follows:
  • Undefeated (Never lost a week)
  • Highest week # before the 1st loss
  • If still tied, remaining players will split the winnings
  • Fees and Pick Sheets are due by Wednesday September 3rd, 2014. Any fees or pick sheets received after September 3rd will be returned to sender.
  • Remaining players will be posted to each week.
  • Completed Pick sheets may be emailed to or given to a member of the Butler Hockey Board.
