examples. Our Database Helper component provides you an easy way to

minimize such a data access code. This light weight component comes handy

as a first layer in data access components.

It is a B2C site aimed at selling toys online. Users can browse based on

Category, Age, Brand and add the toys to their shopping cart or save them

for later. The site also includes a search module. The users also have an

option to gift wrap the selected items. They can also enter promotion codes

mailed to them by the site admin to avail discount and also specify the

shipping mode and address for the items bought. The back end module has the

features like add new categories, age groups and brands for the user to

browse. The site administrator can add new items, specify the items that

can be displayed in the home page, can add images for gift wraps, can add

promotion codes and send mail to existing users of the site who in turn can

avail the discount mentioned for a said period of time by shopping in the

site.

Project Description

The central concept of the application is to allow the customers to

shop virtually using the Internet and allow customers to buy the wall

Posters from the shopping mart. the information pertaining to the products

are stored on an RDBMS at the server side. the Server processes the

requests and the items are shipped to the address submitted by them.

the application was designed into two modules

For the customers who wish to buy the articles

For the storekeeper who maintains and updates the information pertaining to

the articles and those of the customers.

In this project the server side applications were written by using C#.

The client side care was taken by using ASP.NET.

The connectivity between the application and the database was achieved

using ADO.NET and the DBMS used to store information was SQLServer.

Project Description

This portal is one of the very first of its kind in India. This is a unique

B2B, B2C, and C2C portal totally dedicated for Rentals. There are basically

three types of users- normal customer, corporate customer and professional

renters. There are two main categories Thing and Place. Users after logging

can post his rental deals and rental requests and check the responses he

received for all his posted rental deals/requests (Listings). Even

professional renters can carry out their day-to-day activities on the site

and bring their business online and they get a free Home page and can

display any five of their products for free. There are two types of search.

One is search by category where the user can search for any thing or place

for rent category wise and the other one is search by location where the

user can search for a place or thing in any location of his choice and one

more search is Metro search where the user can search in all the metro

cities.

One more feature of this is site is that it has it's own session

management. As IIS session management occupies more memory and dependent on

cookies and if the enable cookies option is disabled in the browser

sessions don't work. In order to overcome this problem we have developed a

COM Component, which creates session keys, and using the component we can

retrieve all the session values from the database. In this way it is

independent of IIS session handling. This way the user can be more secured

and this increases the performance of the site.

Project Description

Enterprise Engraving Systems are the world leaders in manufacturing

engraving machines. This Site has been designed on an ASP model so as to

cater to the client's customization requirements. This is a B2C portal

aimed at selling customized products. Users can browse through the

different product categories and add them to his shopping cart or save them

for future. The User can view the customized product instantly. The

customized product is displayed using Vector Markup Language. He can

upload images of his choice for customization. Users can check the multiple

price listings before buying the products. All the transactions are carried

out through SSL (512-bit encryption) and the payment software (PayFlow Pro)

has been rented from VeriSign. The user is given the facility to post the

RFQ's for the existing products in the site. The Back-end Module is used

for maintaining the site. The main Administrator can create users who can

carry out some functionality (like inventory, Add Products, Add Vendors

etc) based on the privileges granted to him. The automation process of

responding to RFQs is done through Microsoft Biztalk Server. The

Administrator is provided with the facility to select Vendors for posting

the RFQ. The administrator can select one of the Vendor's Quotations or he

can give his own Quote to the Customer. Using Biztalk Server the process of

posting the RFQs from the Back-end to different vendors has been

implemented. Integration was done with the clients existing Accounting

Package using Biztalk Server. Using the Biztalk Server for the integration

activity gives us the ease for the Business Process to span across

platforms and Applications.

This site has been designed to provide a common marketplace for the

customers of HSquare. Here the customers are provided with the information

regarding the products of HSquare and can check all the products and their

spare parts information and can order them online. All the transactions are

encrypted using SSL and the credit card payment is done through Bank of

America (BOFA). The users can download the latest engraving machine

software from the site. There is a section in the site called the engraver

e-commerce. Here all the customers can post their requirements like items

for sale, items wanted, Employment etc. under different categories and add

them to their shopping cart. Users can add products to their wish list so

that they can buy them next time they log in. There is also a search

facility for the customers to search for the products they want under a

particular category.
