· Aside from data flow change, will all other operations/practices remain “as-is” (e.g. data posted to FTPS folders)
o Will ERCOT change the format of the LSE or will this remain the same?
o Will REPs still pull the data from the FTP site?
o Will the FTP files still be sorted by ROR or sorted by Profile Type( as currently received by ERCOT )?
o Will same URL apply for REPs to “pick up the files”?
o Will the format continue to be a unified format received by all TDSPs?
o Will the same validations be applied to the data by
§ TDSPs – VEE?
§ SMT – file format only?
§ ERCOT – file format and threshold values?
· Will current timelines of data apply?
o Will this cause any delays if the TDUs send the data to ERCOT who will then populate SMT Portal?
o Will the delay only be ‘seconds’?
· After day 5, frequency of data updates from ERCOT to SMT
o Reversions between day 1 and day 5
o What happens on reversioned data? Will that SMT data replace ERCOT settlement data? Or will ERCOT wait till after data aggs are performed to replace ERCOT data (version 1) with ERCOT data (version 2)?
o If revisions do that place, will ERCOT use the same process to push the revision as currently utilized by SMT?
o How long will ERCOT continue to make updates to the data beyond day 5? Through final settlement?
o What timing could be expected for additional revisions? Will ERCOT use similar timelines as utilized for extract files in posting revised data (receipt +3), post on a set timeline, or mirror the settlement process timelines?
· Can SMT accommodate an additional quality code to differentiate between ERCOT estimated data, TDSP estimated data?
· Will the AMS Settlement extract file still be available?
· Will the 727 extract still be posted? On the same schedule (OD+3 or OD+4)?
o Will the AMS interval extract be available?
o Will the non AMS interval extract be available?
· Will the interval read data have “query ability” to pull down a start and end date as it is in SMT today?
· Will there be the ability to put information into an excel format as it is in SMT today?
· Will there be any changes to the length of time interval data is stored – at ERCOT or at SMT?
· Do any of the changes being considered have the potential to disrupt third party data access as it exists today?
