KIDZONE @ ETCHELLS

The KIDZONE team at Etchells would like to wish you a Happy New Year. We have had some changes to our team. Emma has left to take up a full time job in preparation for her starting her PGCE in September. We wish Emma all the best.

Leanne has joined us for the afternoon sessions. Leanne is qualified to L4 in Childcare, Learning and Development and has worked as a practitioner for over 10-years.

Here are some of the events we are organising this term. We will be visiting countries each week – the children will choose a country from the map in the corridor. This week is Spanish week.

27th February – 3rd MarchSt David’s Day and Welsh week. We will have a Welsh quiz; look at famous Welsh people and landmarks.

6th March – 10th MarchUsing the festival of Holi – we will use lots of colour and paint in craft activities.

13th March – 17th MarchIrish week – St Patricks Day

We will have Irish stew, Irish music and dancing, Irish hats.

We will finish the term with Easter hats, bunnies and egg hunts. In addition, we will have award ceremonies.

HOLIDAY CLUB

The holiday club is run by Chris from FootyTotz (07921 557344) and Tracy (07468 565592).

PAYMENTS

A huge thank you to all those who have paid promptly. If you need to speak to a member of staff, in confidence concerning a payment plan, please do not hesitate to let us know.

At KIDZONE, we try to keep our costs as low as possible, but late payment of fees and constant changing of days and sessions costs money in administration time.

All monies are to be handed in to the KIDZONE team in a clearly marked envelope. It would be helpful if you could send the correct money to minimise the amount of change required in the club.

If you make payments directly into our account, please remember to use your child’s name as the reference so that the payment can be allocated against your invoice. The same applies if you use a voucher provider; always use your child’s name as the reference.

We will always try to be available to support parents/carers to cover for unforeseen or emergency situations. The setting must always know in advance if a child is attending.

Absence / missing children - Please let us know if your child is off school ill or going for tea with a friend by phoning or texting the KIDZONE mobile on 07468-565592. This is in addition to contacting School. Much time is spent tracking children down only to find that they are not attending club.

Contact & Medical details - If you change your address / mobile phone number or any of your contact details, please ensure that you inform the KIDZONE team. If your child’s medical / dietary details change, could you please ensure that the KIDZONE team are also informed.
