GREETINGS 21CCSS Families! We are looking forward to seeing you soon in sunny Mexico. You’ll be met for transport to the hotel by our CEO staff wearing bright green shirts just outside the exit doors at the airport. Dress is resort casual (and for the evenings, suggested attire is “trousers, collared shirts, and close-toed shoes for gentlemen and resort elegant evening wear for ladies”).
OVERVIEW
We will host dinners Thursday, Friday, and Saturdaynight starting with our welcome reception Thursday to gather for a casual dinner buffet between 6:00 and 9:00 pm. Please feel free to drop by the South Pool any time during the evening for food and spirits. Friday night we’ll have a party on the beach and Saturday evening we’ll celebrate with a reception followed by an elegant dinner. We will have a fun evening planned for the kids who will be nearby. There will be staff to entertain the younger kids and activities for older kids and teens plus a special dinner buffet of kid favorite food. Sunday dinner will be on your own and there are many great spots nearby in addition to the hotel restaurants. It’s a busy holiday weekend and reservations are highly recommended. Breakfast will be hosted Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning.
ACTIVITIES
We have a 10% discount at the Ritz-Carlton Spa. I encourage you to take a peek (here’s thespa menu)and make your spa appointments before you arrive. The spa is a small one with fewer amenities than we’ve enjoyed the past few years. There are other spas in the area you may want to consider. The fitness center is open 24 hours and offers classes. There are also tennis courts on the property.
There are so many fun activities in Cancun and this year we’ll let you decide how you want to spend your free time. We’ll have information about excursions and a booking desk at meeting registration.
