PURPOSE/RESPONSIBILITIES OF POST
Overall Purpose:-
Administrate all tasks related to Coaching and Umpiring courses and workshops for the Education Department of Netball Scotland.
Responsibilities: -
The Education Administratorwill be expected to oversee thecoordination and administration of the following;
  • Administration of UKCC Courses using OneFile.
  • Updating resources asrequestedby the Education Development Manager (EDM).
  • Workforce Coordination & Appointment.
  • Coach & Official Data Base management
  • NS Child Protection Officer
  • Main point of contact for UKCC and Umpiring administration
  • Main point of contact for Child Protection issues and PVG’s.
  • Provide day to day administrative support to the EDM on processes and procedures for coach and officials courses and work-shops.
  • In conjunction with the EDM and Operations Manager assist in the management and monitoring of the Education budget to ensure the organisation’s objectives and business plan are delivered within allocated budgets.
  • Effective liaison and support to the wider Development Team (Regional Development Managers (RDM’s) & Club and Competitions Development Manager (CCDM)) for course provision and delivery and, appointment of coaches and officials.
  • Effective liaison and support to the Performance Team for allocation of coaches and officials to training and competition programmes.
  • Work with the Membership Development Officer (MDO)to input and update on NS web-site and social media communications about coaching and officials’ information.
  • Using a range of digital tools and social media platforms to promote coaching courses and opportunities on a regular basis.
  • Work with (MDO) to ensure the annual registration of all course participants.
  • Build effective relationships with both internal staff and external stakeholders in order to deliver successful outcomes consistent with the stated short, medium and long term priorities for coach and officials development.
  • Provide EDM/Head of Development (HoD) with reports on progress against relevant objectives.
  • Other duties as may reasonably be required by the EDM/HoD.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Degree or equivalent in administration or related discipline is desirable
  • Demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of the netball infrastructure locally and nationally is desirable.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage financial resources effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Competence with CRM system, Input to Web-site, Microsoft Office suite of products.
